Each visit to Orangewood is a heart-warming experience. By giving just a little time on a weekday night, we were able to bring joy to this special group of children. November 2015 Visit
The Newport Smart Circle group headed to Orangewood in November for a Thanksgiving celebration with the kids. Ready for a great time, the team got to spend some quality time with the children as they participated in a relay race, worked on two craft projects, ate some delicious snacks, and of course… colored to their little hearts content! 
March 2016 Visit
The group in Newport Beach had the opportunity to visit the Orangewood Children and Family Center as volunteers in March. It was a fun time for everyone in attendance, as the kids played red light/green light, decorated eggs, colored, ate some snacks, and planted seeds just in time for spring. However, the clear winner of the night was the Easter egg hunt we set up for the children! 
August 2016 visit
Volunteers from the Newport Beach office got to visit Orangewood Children and Family Center, to have some fun with the kids and get them ready to go back to school. Every time we visitOrangewood we are humbled to see that most of the children, if not all, are new to the program, meaning the children and their families are successfully being worked with to have their situations improved through counseling and love. As usual, the kids were ready to play and have some fun. And as usual, Smart Circle came prepared. Armed with water balloons, food, and back-to-school packets, the group enjoyed a water balloon toss, snack time, rock painting, bingo, and coloring. Some unplanned activities included water balloon dodging and hand painting.
